STEP 1
AUDITION MATERIALS

Singers must audition by submitting video or audio recordings of two contrasting selections, preferably in Italian. Videos are strongly preferred. If you would like to audition for a specific role, such as Angelica, Zia Principessa, Cenerentola, Susanna, etc. please sing a representative selection. Files must be submitted using a Dropbox link, YouTube channel, or other similar cloud service. Singers may also apply through Yaptracker.

Submit two contrasting examples with or without singers, preferably from Italian opera. For collaborative pianists who do not have experience with singers, it is acceptable to submit a recording with an instrumentalist.

To be considered for the fellowship, please submit extended excerpts of operatic repertoire with or without singer. One excerpt should include basso continuo recitative. Also, include a CV and ask your teacher to send a letter of recommendation to info@operalucca.org. The email should have subject “Recommendation: [Name].”
